Select Any Text, Then Fix It, Summarize It, or Translate It — In Place

Writhere isn't only for text you dictate — it also works on text that's already sitting on your screen. Highlight a sentence in any app and a small card appears with three options: fix it, summarize it, or translate it, in place.

Quick answer
Select any text in any app, and Writhere's selection menu can fix grammar, summarize it, or translate it — replacing the selection directly, with no copy-paste into a separate tool.

How it works

  • Select a sentence or paragraph in whatever app you're in — email, notes, a chat, a document.
  • A small card appears next to the selection.
  • Choose fix, summarize, or translate; the result replaces the selected text directly.

Why "in place" is the point

The usual workflow for cleaning up or translating text you didn't write yourself is copy, switch app, paste, wait, copy the result, switch back, paste again. Writhere's selection menu collapses that into one action, without ever leaving the app the text is already in.

Where this is most useful

  • Cleaning up pasted text — from a voice memo transcript, an old note, or anything rough.
  • Summarizing a long paragraph before forwarding it or replying to it.
  • Translating a sentence someone sent you, without opening a separate translator app or tab.

The bottom line

Dictation solves getting new text onto the page. The selection menu solves fixing, summarizing, or translating text that's already there — same app, no extra steps.
